"I live in the Rockville/ Derwood area. I had my driveway damaged by an unknown snowplow during the winter Storm in early 2021.
My insurance authorized to pay for an new driveway. I did my due diligence as a homeowner and contacted several paving companies. I asked for references and personally went to the addresses to look at the quality of the work.
When I drove pass the addresses, I happened to also see some of the homeowners in their yards as I drove pass thier homes. I was able to get valuable feedback from the property owners regarding the work that MARYLAND ASPHALT did. The work was done between 2 and 3 years ago. The driveways looked like they were in great shape and held up over the years from heat, water, snow, ice and freezing temperatures. The owners I spoke with informed me they did have any problems over the years from the changing weather conditions and the price was reasonable.
The other asphalt companies that gave me some addresses to look at didn't look like the work held up over a period of time. The asphalt look to be cracking and breaking apart in some areas. Some of the owners were disappointed in the way their driveways look a few years later.
I decided to get my driveway repaved by Maryland Asphalt. I am very happy with the workmanship and detail they put into removing the old asphalt and repaving it with new asphalt. They used updated equipment and machinery. The price was reasonable and was around the same price as the other quotes I received. He gave me a Military / First Responders discount.
My neighbors recently had their driveway repaved by another company a few monthsprior to my drivewaybeingpaved. I noticed a huge difference in the quality of work from both driveways. My driveway look much better in my opinion. My neighbors complimented me on my new driveway. I highly recommend Maryland Asphalt if you are looking for a good quality job.
